stars of halcyon nights

The maidens in the distant skies, in soothing halcyon nights,
Casts their basket of stars, little gems of twinkling lights
As you and I as little children, under their watchful eyes,
In innocence of adolescence, to gather in hands we tried

Little gems in the night, little twinkling lights,
Where we tried to gather, but we merely sight
Where as we wandered along, the seashore’s moving tide
As we waded barefooted, while little fishes hide

Stars, stars, in gentle soothing nights
Little children we were, amidst the shifting waters’ tide
To gather in our hands, impossible though that be,
But each second lived together, are precious drops of memory

Stars, stars, in gentle soothing nights,
Though that time has past, but the stars are always bright
As each second together, precious drops of memory
Shines forever a star, in the future’s unknown night

Stars of halcyon nights

some very beautiful music captures me...

wow tis is quite beautiful, i like how it ended wif a consolation. also, u know me la, im logic over emotion, so i will only like a poem if in the first place i understand it. as such, i like it more than ya last 2 poems, they're too abstract for me. i also like tis more than ya darker poems. but as we agreed, theres no gd n bad poems, only preferences.
