The Dream Maker

Sometimes there's this defiance that wells within as others tell you what you do is wrong. But in the end, just what is right and wrong? Who is anyone to tell You what can or not be done and how or how not to do it? You just want to lash out. Yes, sometimes people might think you are wrong and there's this superiority in their tones. Yes, they may even have public opinion on their side and the weight of customs. But to these people, I recommend that they read John Stuart Mill and learn about the ''magic of customs'' and try to prove him wrong

The man who takes a journey to the end of the world,
Lets not the self-centered impositions of others deter
The man who seeks to fly through the clouds,
Finds his wings in a shout of defiance loud
The man who while searching may need to pass through the fires of hell
Burns with the sulphur, and lives to tell
The man who searches for the castle in the sky,
Shall not stop though others declare it a lie

The same force that made you and I,
Made too, the earth and the sky
The same dreams that made the earth and the sky,
Puts too the dream, within you and I
The dreams in my mind then are but a part,

When I seek to live my dreams then,
Why do you and you judge then, impossible that I can

The man who searches for his place in the sky,
Will go through hell with the most defiant cry
The same force that made him dream the dream,
Puts too into his mind, that similar dream
The man then who seeks the end of the world,
May not find yet soon, may yet be coerced
Yet though that place may not exist,
He shall create it ultimately, if he would persist
