Artemis's tears

sometimes humans have to know that no matter what they do, nothing will ever be perfect and that grief and bitterness must be understood not as problems that humans endeavour to solve, but as part of the integral fabric of human existence...its not pessimissm but its just reality
we can do our best, but do realise that heaven is not found on earth, only when we die..

Sweet Artemis smiles upon the dreaming world,
As the twinkling maidens of Pleiades gather
Mortal hearts lay sated, finding solace in the gentle night,
That bitterness of the world, laid to a hiatus they might
How mortals have fallen since,
From a secluded garden, tainted by sin
That we wander the vast desert of the world,
Knowing, but not finding, the lost oasis’s sweet water
But ambrosia is denied even immortals,
Imagine though we might, of perfection among the celestial
Though the grief of mortal hearts brings tears,
Others gather, to wipe your tears, ease your fears
But while we find solace in others, and in sweet dreams,
The immortal hides her tears alone within
For as the immortals dance in cosmic tandem,
There will come, a clashing inevitable
When we lay in sweet slumber,
Artemis her full beauty, to a fracture it surrenders
A crescent moon, upon night skies while mortals slumber,
Sweet Artemis lays broken, shedding silent tears
An immortal’s grieving heart, where no mortals venture

Artemis’s tears

I like ya site becos ya writings, picture and colours seamlessly weave together to form a consistent theme. it has the qualities of the nite: totful, sentimental and enchanting.

Lioncourt sounds like Benson Lee.. pardon me if i am wrong. he uses that same signature in his emails. you know... i alwiz wonder how differently life could turn out, who would i be loving, what sort of unhappiness would i encounter... if i made my stand strong, chased my passions and made choices i never dared. fall in love with people who won't reciprocate the love. or walk alone embracing independence. is it lvoe that makes us human? are relationships a burden or a bonus to monotonous life?
