babies in a limbo

When we feel like its bleak, who do we lean on?
you want an answer, but not what people tell you, and you don't believe in god
so....?

We are babies floating in a catholic limbo,
Looking at each other in a mindless tango
We stare, we smile, and we wink
Ultimately, we don’t know what each other think
You hold a hand to me, so I pull
But as I pull, you come with me too
You don’t know it, neither do I
That in this limbo, we can’t even die
We don’t know it, you or I
That in this limbo, we don’t even know how to cry
We float around dancing the slow sweet tango,
Like we are on drugs, and there’s no tomorrow
We try to get out, but whom do we lean on?
Not on you, or me, our souls’ all ripped and torn
We are in this limbo, we don’t know why
Never had a chance, we just die
Maybe some day, we learn to break free,
And that the way out we might somehow see
But till then, you and me shall carry on the tango,
Helplessly and aimlessly in this entrapping limbo

limbo
